Romulus and Remus Unisex Short Sleeve T-shirt
Romulus and Remus are the mythical twin brothers who founded Rome. They were born in Alba Longa to a Vesta Virgin called Rhea Silvia (or Ilia) who claimed she had been raped by Mars, the god of war himself. Their mother was a child of a deposed king. The new king, trying to get rid of a potential threat, ordered their murder. The twins, however survived, with the help of a friendly wolf and were brought up by a swineherd. They later led a coup in Alba Longa and restored their grandfather to the throne there. They founded a new city but couldn't agree on its name and location. The conflict escalated and resulted in a fratricide. The survivor, Romulus then named the new city "Rome" and became its first king.
