Res Gestae Divi Augusti Mug 11oz (0.33 l)
This mug contains the whole autobiography of Augustus, Rome's first emperor. Augustus wrote the text of Res Gestae just before his death and mentioned all his major achievements. He described which offices he held (and declined), which enemies he defeated, which buildings he built or renovated and how much money he gave away to the citizens of Rome. It was displayed on two bronze pillars in front of his mausoleum in Rome. The text on this mug is in its original Latin language.
